Bassmaster Classic (February 19th - 21st)

February is not only known for the NFL's Superbowl, but it is known for Bassmaster's Superbowl of bass fishing, the Classic. The 2010 Bassmaster Classic is being held on Lay Lake in Alabama. For those of you that may not know, the field consists of 55 anglers: the top 40 in the season-long BASS standings and 15 regional qualifiers. This is a huge fishing event where fans will be watching at the Beeswax boat ramp on Lay Lake and Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center in Birmingham for the Expo and Weigh-ins.

This is the fourth time Lay Lake has held the event in the Bassmaster Classic's 39 year history. The pundits name 5 anglers as favorites to win (Boyd Duckett, Michael Iaconelli, Aaron Martens, Skeet Reese and Kevin VanDam). But anything can happen at the classic.

WEIGH-IN INFORMATION
Fans can watch as the Classic anglers weigh their daily catches vying for a top prize of $500,000. Weigh-ins feature pre-show activities, giveaways from BASS sponsors, fan interaction and more.
